Is 1 Day Enough For Universal Studios Florida?
The short answer is yes. As long as you have a plan from start to finish. We woke up with the intention to arrive about 1 hour later after the park had opened and stay late closer to when they close the park for the night.
Step 1:
The first thing is to purchase your tickets. I suggest ordering them online. You get better pricing and you don’t have an extra line to wait at once you arrive at the park.
Tip: Something to consider when you pack is to bring cooling towels depending on the month you plan on going to Florida. It can get pretty toasty.
Step 2:
Next, download the app. It’s a great tool to see what the wait times are for each ride.
You can also save time by purchasing your food through the app and adding your table number once you are seated for quicker delivery times.
Tip: In your planning process, I highly recommend scheduling the popular rides first because as the day goes the longer the wait times are longer. (check the map which rides have longer wait times)
Additional Considerations:
For some of the rides, you will need to put bags into the lockers. The lockers are good for 2 hours. You will need a locker for these rides: Rock It, Harry Potter, Revenge of the Mummy, and MIB.
Be sure to eat lunch earlier than noon, or else it may take 1.5 hours to get your food when the lunch rush hits.
For those that have gone to Universal Studios in Los Angeles, you may see the same ride names at Universal Studios Florida, but the ride itself is a little different with its own uniqueness.
With a solid plan and a few smart tips, it's definitely possible to make the most of a single day at Universal Studios Florida. Whether it's beating the lines, staying cool, or knowing where to grab a quick meal, every little bit of preparation helps.
